From Far and Wide is a show that seeks to redefine and reinvent Canadian music. In search of the best Original Music we will travel across Canada (First Season focuses on Ontario) holding open calls and taking unedited internet submissions. 

A main difference between this show and other Idol type shows is that this show is about Original Music. Another unique quality of our show is that the panel consists of industry professionals who are looking to support an artist and WILL help them succeed by way of the show's vertical integration.

From Far and Wide is a label, a distribution network, a PR agency and a management entity.

The winner of From Far and Wide will win a 6 song Video EP recorded and produced at the beautiful Chalet Studios in Claremont, Ontario. When the songs are recorded and our creative team works with the artist to create the 6 song Video EP (which has never been done before) we will provide full marketing, PR, management and international distribution to the chosen artist.

Our other main sponsor is TARA. A Canadian College for Recording Arts that has been so supportive of our vision. There we will be shooting two of our episodes, one at their Ottawa location and one in Toronto.

We are looking forward to this whole process that is fuelled by honesty, integrity, sensitivity and an immense backend of knowledge towards this exceptional industry of Canadian Independent Music. Oh.. And wicked music.
